The exhibits of the museum not only complement the process of biological education, but also have an impact on its comprehensive development. "Live" lessons in museums are very important for teaching students not only to understand the material, but also in the practical use of the acquired knowledge. In this regard, it is very important to determine the motivation of teachers who conduct "live" lessons in museums. Various literary sources were analyzed on this issue, a questionnaire was received from 60 biology teachers. By analyzing the survey results, general quantitative and qualitative indicators of teachers' knowledge and motivation about museum pedagogy were determined. As a result of the study, it was found that the general awareness of biology teachers about the potential of museum education directly affects their motivation for museum education.
