The article discusses the importance of using interactive methods based on interdisciplinary
connections in geography lessons. It will be told about the effectiveness of interactive methods for
studying the relationship of the subject of Geography with other subjects, expanding students'
knowledge and increasing their cognitive activity. The main methods and methods of establishing
interdisciplinary connections are described methodologically. These approaches help to increase
students' interest in the subject and increase the level of knowledge. In the modern education
system, one of the most important tasks is to form a scientific worldview of students that meets the
requirements of the information society. Since the subject of geography studies the relationship
between nature and society, it must have a close connection with other disciplines. Establishing
interdisciplinary connections in geography, especially in combination with subjects such as history
and biology, allows students to understand the world more broadly and deeply.
Determination of the pedagogical essence of establishing interdisciplinary connections and the
use of interactive methods in geography lessons and their role in improving the quality of education.

These methods increase student engagement and allow you to visually convey the connections
between subjects. The use of interactive methods in geography lessons teaches students to think
independently, conduct research, participate in discussions, evaluate information and make

importance in geography lessons.
