This article examines the integration processes in Central Asia, the specifics of the formation of
integration processes in Central Asian states.
The article analyzes the problem of joining the world community of new independent states
formed on the territory of the former Soviet Union. After the collapse of the USSR, in a short
historical period, the newly independent states of Central Asia went through several stages in their
development. Since gaining independence, the Central Asian countries have faced difficulties in the
economic and political spheres and noted the need for joint efforts to overcome them. Subsequently,
the directions of economic, political and cultural development of the Central Asian countries were
determined.
The relevance of the topic, the integration of Central Asia, is conditioned by the need to
preserve stability and peace in the region, ensure national security, and enhance its role in solving
the problems of the CIS and the global arena. The Central Asian states are united by centuries-old
history, cultural traditions and religion. The problems and processes in these countries are similar.
Currently, integration issues are purely technical and economic in nature.
The article uses several methods of a comprehensive analysis of the integration processes of the
Central Asian states and the definition of their features.
