The article examines the impact of using a virtual learning platform in biology lessons on
students' learning outcomes. The need to accelerate digital transformation in our country and widely
introduce modern technologies into all areas, including the education system, is emphasized. Virtual
learning platforms explain how students master theoretical material, the requirements for performing
laboratory work in a digital environment. It was cited by researcher R. Mayer that in the theory of
multimedia learning, information is presented in text and visual form, animations, interactive models
and visualization tools facilitate the understanding of complex scientific concepts and affect the long
term retention of knowledge. During the study, a BioSphere virtual learning platform for performing
laboratory work was developed and introduced into the learning process. A pedagogical experiment
was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the platform. A full explanation of the structure and
technical requirements of the platform and the functional modules of the system are given. The main
interface is presented in the format of the "Bio-world map", and the learning content is divided into
thematic areas. The platform interface displays sections such as “Microworld”, “Botanical Garden”,
“Anatomy Building” and “Genetics Tower” as separate zones. The experiment was conducted with
first-year students of a technical and vocational education institution. The results of the study showed
that the academic achievements of the experimental group using the virtual learning platform were
higher than those of the control group. According to the results of the final testing, the average score
of the experimental group increased significantly and the proportion of students with high levels of
education increased. The results obtained prove that the virtual learning platform is an effective
digital tool that contributes to improving the quality of education.
